Ashley is the owner of The Alpha Mama. She grew up in Woodinville, WA. She is a true born animal lover that grew up always rescuing any animals she could, especially if they were injured and did everything to nurse them back to health.
She has been working in the pet industry since 2006. She has worked for dog boarding and training facilities, doggy daycares, pet nutrition, pet sitter/ dog walker, dog and cat bather/ grooming handler and worked with feral cats.
After she had seen and experiencing behind the sences of all of the facilities that she had worked for, she knew that was not something she wanted to be a part of. In January 2015 she started The Alpha Mama where pets are able to stay in the comfort and safety of their own home!
In her free time she likes to…well, she runs The Alpha Mama and is a full-time pet sitter and dog walker, she doesn’t really have free time! BUT when she does she loves spending time with her pets, relaxing at home, go kart racing, driving, working on her truck and going to the driving range.
Becky grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where she surrounded herself with animals at a very young age. By high school, she was enrolled into a technical course for veterinary assisting, and by graduation, she was involved heavily in anything dog related she could get her hands into. She followed up her schooling with further courses on dog training and behavior. She’s worked at doggie daycares, dog walking companies, training companies, and has even dabbled with running her own business as a trainer.
In her free time, Becky competes nationally in the sports of flyball and dock diving with her two dogs. She has traveled all of the United States competing with her whippet mix, Heathen. She also enjoys art, reading, and playing video games, snuggled up with her two kitties.
